The website has undergone some major changes and I hope that you find the site easy to navigate and the content useful. About the Group:

 

The Group provides a forum for local businesses to network and receive presentations on health and safety topics that can impact on them (e.g. recent or forthcoming legislation).  Topics to be covered in presentations are also determined by the Group's members. The Group is part of a network of regional groups, Safety Groups UK, affiliated to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

Meetings usually take place six times-a-year.

Meetings:

Meetings are structured to include:-  

  Group Business (Minutes and Correspondence).

 Speaker Presentation followed by a question and answer session.

  Update on forthcoming legislation and how it may impact on your organisation.

 Opportunity for members to network on issues appropriate to their business and        seek advice on how to remedy any issues in their workplaces.

 

Membership:

 

Membership is open to any individual or business operating within the Kirklees or Calderdale area.  If you are interested in joining the Group, or want further information, please go to the “Contact Us” page and use the contact e-mails available. Annual subscriptions fees are: £10 for individuals; and £30 for organisations.  The subscription for organisations entitles any of their representatives to attend each meeting.

Next Meeting:

The next meeting of the Group is on  Wednesday 12th November at Cummins Turbo Technologies, St. Andrews Road Huddersfield. Presentation Topic to be announced. Will delegates please report to the main reception and the meeting will take place from 14.00h to 16.00h.
